1. Overview

QMSBox Quality Toolbox (qmsbox.com) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use and protect it, and your rights.

2. Calculation data

Measurements, specification limits and other data you enter are sent to our server for the calculation and are not stored afterwards. Data is stored only if you sign in and choose “save analysis”; it is then visible only to you, and we delete it on request by email.

3. Information we collect

• Account: your email address and a salted hash of your password.
• Payments: order number, amount, time and channel. Payments are processed by Afdian or Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
• Access logs: time, page URL, referrer, browser type, IP address and country, for security and traffic statistics. We use our own anonymous statistics, not Google Analytics.
• Free-use counting: to prevent abuse we count uses per tool, linked to IP address and an anonymous device identifier (a hash of browser characteristics, with no name or identity).

4. Cookies and Google AdSense

We show ads through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-9112301549922344). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (www.google.com/settings/ads), or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info. The site itself only uses cookies / local storage needed to keep you signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some features such as sign-in may then not work.

5. Use and sharing

We use information only to provide and improve the service, manage accounts, process payments, prevent abuse and answer you. We never sell or rent personal information; we share only what is needed with payment providers (Afdian, Stripe), for ads (Google) or when required by law.

6. Retention and security

The whole site uses HTTPS; passwords are salted and hashed; servers are backed up and access-restricted. Access logs are generally kept no longer than 12 months; account data is removed when you delete your account, except transaction records the law requires us to keep.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account information and saved analyses, or close your account. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 15 business days.

8. Children

The site is for professional users, is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

9. Changes

We update this policy when the law or the service changes and post the new date on this page.
